The Heart Warrior Designs Story
Our son was diagnosed at 16 weeks in utero with a heart defect. It wasn't until Jay was born that we all knew it was much worse than anticipated.After months of misdiagnosis' and desperately searching for answers, he was flown to Texas Children's Hospital where he underwent open heart surgery 5 days later to repair his heart. With his heart diagnosis comes several other issues which affect his pulmonary system. The life-saving surgery Dr. Calderoné performed on our son's heart which, was the size of a walnut and the veins the size of a strand of hair, were nothing short of Gods amazing Will. We met so many amazing doctors, nurses, fellow Heart Warrior families and were blessed by the donations and services from many foundations that graciously helped up through it all.May 20, 2020, we were given a second chance with our son!Moving forward, my son’s pulmonary issues cause much concern with even a simple cold, and we made the decision for me to step away from my 17 year career in education to stay at home and keep him as protected as possible. I wanted to have something to help our family income as well as donate back to the amazing people and organizations that blessed us so. That's where Heart Warrior Designs was created. We want to keep giving back as well as advocating for CHD so HWD donates back 5% of all sales to a foundation or family based around or dealing with Congenital Heart Defects/Disease. It's our small gesture in honor of our son and his amazing battle to be able to give back!

Please remember that Heart Warrior Designs is a small business. I do not keep large quantities of items in stock. That being said, I will always try and make things as affordable as possible and returned to you in a timely manner.

Heart Warrior Designs is a one woman show which does not mass produce or outsource any of the designing process and orders can take 7-10 days to move beyond the creation/design process.
Turn Around Time (TAT) is currently 2-4 weeks for tumblers (not including weekends or holidays) & all other items are currently 1-2 weeks (not including weekends or holidays).
Large orders can and will take longer depending on size of order.
A huge component of HWD is based around the use of glitter. Random pieces of glitter may appear but please know I try and avoid that as best I can. Unless critically distracting to a design, glitter specs are NOT considered an error in design.
There is a 7-day guarantee if anything happens to a product that is due to a HWD production error. Anything beyond that is not the responsibility of Heart Warrior Designs.
HWD is not responsible or liable for items sent to customers through USPS (or any other carrier) that are lost, damaged or stolen.
Unless there is an error on the part of HWD, there are no returns or exchanges. In the event of a return or exchange, the customer must send back the purchased merchandise at their own expense and will not be issued any part of a refund (full or partial) until HWD has received the merchandise.
All Items are handcrafted and therefore may have slight imperfections and color variations. Please note, no two items will be exactly alike.
Items may be recreated but not duplicated.
HWD is not responsible for any decals if purchaser places item incorrectly.
Customers understands that orders will not be started until deposit is received and will not be completed and/or shipped until invoice is paid in full.
Shipping will be added to the total and is the responsibility of the customer.
